2011 Pittsburgh Steelers
The Pittsburgh Steelers are looking for redemption in 2011 and are going to rely on their bevy of veteran players to carry the task out. Do not expect any new faces starting for the Steelers and the franchise has decided to go status quo while the rest of the league changed and grew younger.
Not one of the teams 2011 draft selections made the starting lineup including first round pick DE Cameron Heyward (31st overall selection) who will backup Brett Keisel. The only other draft picks to make the final cut was OT Marcus Gilbert (2nd round, 63rd overall selection) and LB Chris Carter (5th round, 167th overall selection)
Look for the Steelers to begin showing their age this season. They should still be a solid team but a team that is playing against players 10-15 years younger than their squad.
